After I was ordained a priest in 1967, I taught high school for several years.  I subsequently served in two parishes, Sacred Heart, Elizabeth and Saint Teresa, Summit, as an associate pastor before being named Pastor of Holy Rosary - Saint Michael in Elizabeth in 1985.

In 1989 I was appointed Pastor of Blessed Sacrament, Elizabeth, and in 1997 Pastor of Our Lady of Peace, New Providence.  In addition to these responsibilities, in 2002 I was named Vicar for Union County.  I held this post for five years.  In 2007, on the occasion of my fortieth anniversary of ordination, I was granted a six month sabbatical which I spent at the North American College in Rome.

In February of 2008, I became Pastor of Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish, Scotch Plains.  Simon II, my third dog, and I are very happy here.
